A brief snapshot of our history.
Founding Juicyway
Founded in 2021, Juicyway was started by Ife and Justin with 9 employees. Our mission is to enable the African business to make compliant global payments cheap and fast.
Processed our first transaction
We processed our first (nine dollar) transaction in November 2021. Since then we have processed over $1 billion in transaction.
Processed our first $2m
It took us a year to do it, but at the end of 2022, we had processed our first $2m in payout volume.
Passed cybersecurity compliance checks
We certified our security-consciousness with SOC 1, SOC 2 and PCI DSS approval.
Got our UK API license
We opened our services to those who wish to leverage our infrastructure and licenses, aiming to simplify their building processes.
Expanded service to 5 new countries
Apart from the origin country, Juicyway added 5 countries to the users it serves - Ghana, Kenya, US, UK and Canada.
Acquired businesses to expand services
In January 2024, we expanded our services to include exchange by acquiring Sebastien and Donnette BDCs.
We reached 60 employees
We crossed the mark of 60 employees in our company in January 2024.
